Paris Saint-Germain reportedly tried to lure Marcus Rashford away from Manchester United by offering him a mega-money deal.

According to The Athletic, Les Parisiens had spoken to Rashford and his representatives ahead of this season, offering the Englishman a lucrative deal worth £400 000 (R8.9 million) a week to make his way to the French capital.
While the Manchester native opted to stay at Old Trafford, the Red Devils will still be wary of PSG's interest today.
The 25-year-old's contract at the Theatre of Dreams comes to an end in June 2024, and the same report suggests that the Mancunian side have made no progress in extending his deal.
Rashford is enjoying the best season of his career as far as goalscoring is concerned, having bagged 27 strikes across all competitions so far in the 2022/23 campaign.
The England international is one of a number of United stars whose contract end next year, with the likes of Fred, Diogo Dalot, David de Gea and Luke Shaw seemingly headed for free agency, but it is Rashford who is the club's top priority at the moment.

It is presumed that the reason for the delay in extending the attacker's contract is the ongoing sale of the club, with Rashford said to want to know who the new owner of United will be before committing his long-term future to his boyhood team.
