Manchester United are reportedly working towards signing a replacement should Paul Pogba leave for Real Madrid.
The Frenchman made headlines during the international break when he openly flirted with a move to Real once again.
The former Juventus star has been linked with the Spanish giants on a number of occasions in the past, with coach Zinedine Zidane known to be a big admirer of the midfielder.
With Pogba once again having reiterated that it would be a "dream" to play for Los Blancos, the Daily Mirror has now claimed that United have already started working towards signing a replacement.
It is suggested that Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is on the Red Devils' radar, with the sought-after youngster having broken into the Ligue 1 side's senior team last season.
The player also featured in the starting XI of France's senior side for the first time last week, during which he got on the scoresheet in a 7-1 demolition of Ukraine.
It has been suggested that there are already mechanisms in place to sign Camavinga if he intends to leave Rennes at the end of this season, while Los Blancos boss Zidane reportedly made a request for the young player in the recently concluded transfer window.
United will have to do battle with the likes of Real, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for Camavinga's signature, but according to AS, the Red Devils are a "great threat" to Real's hopes of signing him.
