Big personnel changes could be made at the Red Devils at the end of the season, despite the club ending its six-year wait for a trophy earlier this year under the Dutchman.
According to Manchester Evening News, United will be looking to offload a number of high-profile players on permanent deals in the coming months, including first-team captain and England centre-back Harry Maguire.
Here are the six players Ten Hag is reportedly looking to sell:
The defender has found regular game time at United hard to come by since Ten Hag replaced ex-interim boss Ralf Rangnick last year and has been linked with several clubs in England.
Left-back Alex Telles and central defender Eric Bailly, who are currently out on loan at Sevilla and Olympique Marseille respectively, are likely to leave, while rumours suggest that France striker Anthony Martial's time in Manchester is approaching an end.
The 27-year-old has missed the majority of this season due to fitness issues that have seen him make just 10 appearances in the Premier League since the beginning of the campaign.
It seems Ten Hag is becoming impatient with the forward's unreliability, with young defender Brandon Williams and out-on-loan Dean Henderson also not expected to be at the club beyond this season.
The report claims that Jadon Sancho's form has Ten Hag and his coaching staff concerned, after he was named on the bench once again this past weekend as United lost 2-0 to Newcastle United in the Premier League.
There could still be time for the Englishman to change his fortunes at Old Trafford, however, with 11 league matches remaining and the team still competing for the UEFA Europa League and FA Cup titles.
