Reports suggest that Manchester United have lined up former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri to potentially replace the struggling Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in their dugout.
According to The Express, the Red Devils are interested in luring Allegri to Old Trafford to replace the under-fire Solskjaer.
However, it is still claimed that if the Norwegian boss does get sacked by the 20-time English champions, ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is still the club's first choice for the position.
United have endured a difficult start to the 2020/21 campaign, having lost two of their first three Premier League matches of the season.
Allegri has been without a job since June 2019, and has been identified as an alternative to Pochettino should the EPL side continue their struggle for form.
The Italian tactician has been linked with United previously, and was once even believed to be learning the English language in preparation for the move.
