Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made a strong claim about Marcus Rashford after the English winger scored his 10th goal in as many games in their Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old continued his stunning goalscoring form for the Red Devils since returning from the 2022 FIFA World Cup, having now struck on 10 occasions in 10 matches across all competitions to take his tally to 18 for the season so far.
Rashford opened the scoring in United's convincing 3-0 win over Forest at City Ground on Wednesday, after running with the ball from inside in his own half before beating two defenders and finding the back of the net.
No player across Europe's top five divisions has scored more goals than Rashford since the World Cup in Qatar ended, leaving Ten Hag with the impression that his No. 10 is "unstoppable" when in such form.
"A lot of players are playing really well but I am happy with Marcus. In terms of his performance and development, from the start of the season, he is growing," he said in a post-match interview, according to Daily Mail.
"We have to keep this process going and in the first place he is responsible for that. With this mood and this spirit, I think he is unstoppable. It is up to the team to get him in the right positions.
"In possession we have a plan, but then we have some players like Marcus who can do some crazy stuff that nobody expects.
"From a result perspective, we bounced back from losing at Arsenal and the performance over 90 minutes was OK. The second goal before half-time was important as it calmed the team down and the second half was much better."
Rashford now trails his best-ever single-season goal record (22) by just four strikes with half a campaign still to play.
