Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has provided an update after an injury scare while on international duty with Ivory Coast.
The 26-year-old had managed to work his way back from a previous injury into United's starting XI before the international break, although he did have to endure a shocking defeat as the Red Devils were thumped 6-1 by Tottenham Hotspur.
Bailly came into the team at the expense of Victor Lindelof, who had come under heavy criticism following recent errors.
The centre-back featured in Ivory Coast's 1-1 draw with Belgium in a friendly match on Thursday, but was substituted with 20 minutes to go, and walked off the pitch holding his hamstring.
This was a worrying sight for United, who did not bring in reinforcements at centre-back during the transfer window, while also seeing Chris Smalling head to AS Roma.
However, Bailly later took to Instagram to write: "Thanks for worrying about me. But I feel perfectly fine, just fatigue."
Ivory Coast will face Japan on Tuesday, but there has been no indication as to whether or not Bailly will feature in that encounter.
