The Red Devils have not enjoyed a particularly prolific start to the new campaign.
The Mancunians have scored only 13 Premier League goals so far in this campaign, leaving them in sixth position on the table, while they also stand on the brink of UEFA Champions League elimination.
This bad run of form has seemingly put Saudi Arabia's top teams on high alert regarding the possible acquisition of club skipper Fernandes.
Alongside Kevin De Bruyne, the playmaker is believed to have been identified as one of the main targets for the Saudi Pro League's top sides when the 2023/24 season comes to an end, but when quizzed on Middle Eastern interest in his services on the weekend, the Portugal international answered, as per 90min: "Being coveted is always good, regardless of the league and the club.
"But my focus is on the national team and Manchester United, I'm happy where I am.
"In the national team, we are in a very good moment. At Manchester United, we didn't start the way we wanted, but I don't think about the long term.
