According to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, the former Spain captain is "mad" about the idea of returning to Sevilla, for whom he made his professional debut in the 2003/04 season.
Ramos, 37, left Real Madrid in 2021 for a two-year stint in Paris, but will officially become a free agent at the end of this month when his deal expires.
The legendary centre-back has been linked with a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, but reports suggest he would prefer to return to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium for the coming campaign.
Ramos made his first appearance for Sevilla in 2004, coming on as a substitute in a LaLiga loss to Deportivo La Coruna, before going on to play an impressive 41 matches in all competitions the following season as a teenager.
He eventually completed a move to Los Blancos in 2005, leaving 16 years later after amassing 671 appearances and winning 22 trophies, many of them as captain, along the way.

It remains to be seen if Sevilla would be interested in a reunion, however, with reports claiming that his relationship with the club's fans is "strained" following his years at the 14-time European champions, while there are also concerns he might not fit into manager Jose Luis Mendilibar's tactical plans.
