Zinedine Zidane is reportedly open to taking the Paris Saint-Germain head coaching position but on one condition regarding Neymar.
Cancelo Set To Make Switch To Bayern Permanent?
Having been out of football management for two years, it seems that the French tactician is set to make a spectacular return next season.
According to Todofichajes, the 50-year-old tactician is set to sit in the Parc des Princes dugout and replace Christophe Galtier, who the club have been unimpressed by.
Zidane would be taking over a star-studded side in Paris, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos all present at the club, and the former midfielder could reportedly be looking to add another big name to the team to usher in his arrival.
Ousmane Dembele is said to be a top target for the former Real Madrid manager once he arrives at the home of the Ligue 1 champions. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner signed a short-term extension at Barcelona at the beginning of the season, and, given the club's precarious financial position, the Blaugrana may be willing to cash in on the attacker.
The same report does claim that should Dembele become a PSG player, Zidane will want Neymar to leave the club to make way. Rumours about a potential exit for the Brazilian superstar have been rife since the off-season transfer window but he has managed to produce impressive goalscoring numbers in this campaign. Neymar has 17 goals and 15 assists in all competitions for Les Parisiens.
Neuer In Hot Water With Bayern After Ronaldo-Like Interview
Regardless, it seems Zidane is a fan of Dembele, and, with the Frenchman's contract expiring next year at the Camp Nou, there is an increasing likelihood that the former Stade Rennes winger replaces Neymar at yet another club.
