With the Red Devils in the market for a new striker this off-season, it seems manager Erik ten Hag has identified Atalanta youngster Rasmus Hojlund as his next prospective signing, having just completed another transfer from Serie A after Andre Onana joined from Inter Milan.
Earlier in the window, it was reported that the Mancunians had already agreed personal terms with the Dane, and more recently, the Premier League outfit were rumoured to be preparing a bid to secure his signature.
However, they may need to expedite their attempt to sign the 20-year-old because PSG are reportedly hoping to pounce on any uncertainty pertaining to United's pursuit of the forward.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Les Parisiens have already begun talks with the player's camp over a potential transfer to the French capital.
The Ligue 1 champions are said to have become disillusioned with a proposed move for Juventus talisman Dusan Vlahovic due the Serbian's injury record and have consequently, have moved their attention to Hojlund.
While different price tags have been floated, La Dea manager Gian Piero Gasperini has made it clear how much he thinks his budding young prospect should go for in this window.

"I don't know whether he'll stay or leave," the Atalanta boss admitted to Sky Sports. "But I hope the club will value Hojlund at around €80, €90 or a €100 million fee.
"Rasmus is one of the best – if not the best – emerging talent in Europe as a striker."
