The Italian forward has been a key figure for Nice in the French top division this season, as they look to break Paris Saint-Germain's hold of the league title.
The 26-year-old did not disappoint against Nantes, as he netted the second of Nice's four goals on Sunday afternoon.
It was his sixth league goal in five appearances and seventh goal in all competitions since joining from Liverpool.
Nice are now top of Ligue 1, six points ahead of the defending Champions PSG, who occupy third spot.
