Zidane also parted ways with the club last month and revealed he didn't feel enough support from the people above.
The Frenchman wished his former captain and teammate all the best on social media after his emotional farewell on Thursday afternoon.
"Legend," the Frenchman wrote to Ramos, as per Diario AS.
"It was a great pleasure and honour to have you as a teammate and a player. A great captain in our history. Thanks so much for everything."
Ramos made 671 appearances for Los Blancos and won 22 trophies, including four UEFA Champions League titles.
