Former FC Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o has admitted he would try to sign outgoing Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos if he was in charge of the Catalan giants.
Ramos will officially end his 16-year spell in the Spanish capital when his contract expires at the end of this month, and there has been no clear indication as to what his next move will be.
With the 35-year-old having been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, Eto'o feels PSG would be better suited for the Spain defender.
"If he goes to PSG, I will be happy and I know that he will help us win the Champions League, which is proving very difficult for us."
Eto'o also expects Blaugrana captain Lionel Messi to sign a new deal ahead of the new season.
"I know that Messi loves Barcelona, that he has no problems and that it is not a question of money," he added.
"The only thing is the project, which has to be reliable and I know that Joan [Laporta, Barca president] is working on that.
"He has to enjoy the time he has left, football owes it to him, not just Barca. He has given us everything, he has to enjoy it and win titles.
"Messi is God, and when you have a God, you just have to admire him."
