Belgium and Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has claimed his ankle will never be the same after "breaking" it three times already.
The 30-year-old has suffered a number of injuries since moving to the LaLiga giants in July 2019, and has made only 30 LaLiga appearances in the past two seasons.
He did manage to recover from his latest injury in time for the 2020 UEFA European Championship, but with the player yet to start a game at the tournament, the Belgian playmaker has admitted a full game might be a bit too much to expect of him right now.
"I'm going to play as many minutes as possible at a high level. If it's 50, it's 50. If it's 60, it's 60. We will see.
"I never doubted my qualities, but whether I would be 100% fit for the European Championship.
"I broke my ankle three times, it will never be the same as it was 10 years ago. But I know that if I'm in shape, I can prove myself on the pitch. That's what I'm working on now."
