Real Madrid and Manchester United target, Nicolas Otamendi has reportedly threatened to not turn up for Valencia's training until he knows what his future holds.
Transfer Update: Angel Di Maria
The Argentine has allegedly told his club that he would like to leave them this summer, but since then there has been nothing but speculation around his next move.
The Red Devils and Los Blancos are very interested in the Argentina international, and this has now sparked the player into possibly forcing his own move.
Otamendi's buyout clause is set at £35 million, but Valencia is not that keen on letting him go, although the cash injection would be welcomed by the club's board.
According to AS, the player's agent has flown out to Manchester to try seal a deal with the Old Trafford-based club, but there are also rumours that Manchester City have joined the Otamendi chase.
It's believed that Manchester United are using Victor Valdes as bait for the proposed sale of Otamendi and they are hoping that they could land the centre-back for under £35 million.
Otamendi played 38 matches for Valencia last season and scored six goals along the way.
