In today's transfer update we take a look at the situation surrounding Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
Gyan Reveals Most Memorable Career Goal
According to the English press, Liverpool are looking to off-load the Italian, but it doesn't seem like any clubs are currently willing to take him.
There was speculation that African giants TP Mazembe were interested in the player, but that seems to be nothing more than rumours.
It was also reported that the Italian tried to get his former club Inter Milan to take him back, however that looks like it's very unlikely as well.
Balotelli was also linked with loan deals to Fiorentina and Newcastle but nothing has been materialised at this stage.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has also refused to give the 24-year-old any assurances about his future at Anfield and said it is up to him whether he stays at the club or not.
"Mario is obviously not on tour but he is working hard and training well with a number of other players at Melwood," he told the Daily Mail.
"I'm not sure (whether he has a future), that will entirely be up to Mario. He is working hard to get fit and we will see when the season begins."

Balotelli's future is very unclear at this moment and it seems he could see himself on the bench again, come the start of the season.
