French newspaper Le Parisien claim PSG are ready to offer €60 million and want to close the deal as soon as possible.
According to the report, PSG's sporting director Olivier Letang had a meeting with United's vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
"The meeting was constructive and allowed both parties to come together. The cost of the transfer for the Argentina could exceed 60 million Euros," Le Parisien explain.
Di Maria has allegedly already agreed personal terms with the French giants.
However, other reports in beIn Sports claim negotiations between both clubs have broken down.
United reportedly want to recoup the full €75 million but PSG are reluctant to pay that much for the Argentine who struggled last season.
