The new Los Blancos captain and his brother Rene, who is also his agent, reportedly met with Real president Florentino Perez in China.
According to Marca, Sergio and Rene explained that the defender's desire is to retire with the Spanish club.
Perez, meanwhile, has allegedly apologised to Ramos for previously misunderstanding the situation and agreed to renew the Spaniard's contract.
It seems it's only a matter of time until the Ramos' transfer saga will be put to bed, with the 29-year-old getting what he reportedly wanted – a whopping contract extension.
Ramos' teammate, Pepe has also reiterated that it hasn't crossed his mind that his defensive partner could leave Bernabeu.
"I'm fine and I don't think any of us are thinking about what might happen if Sergio leaves us. He's our captain," he told AS.
"I'm sure that he's going to stay with us because he loves the club so much and his team mates. There's nothing unusual when we speak, everything is normal.
"I hope he stays, he's a reference for us."
