Spain head coach Luis Enrique has revealed who he thinks is La Roja's greatest ever player.
Enrique has been preparing for the Spanish national side for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar and has been using the streaming services Twitch to connect with fans during the tournament.
'Mbappe Is Only At 40 or 50 % Of His Potential'
The former Barcelona tactician has labelled 2010 World Cup winner David Villa as the nation's greatest ever footballer.
"Who is the best Spanish player in history? We've had some very good ones, but I would go for for Villa, as he is the top scorer in the history of the National Team", Enrique said, as per Marca.
"There are many. Kubala, Raúl, Butragueño, Iniesta, Quini, etc.
"Who would I take from 2010 in this team? Who is better Iniesta or Xavi? Puyol or Pique?
"As he is from the same land as me in Asturias, I would pick Villa to play with Morata."
Enrique also went on to say that if Spain don't win the World Cup, he would like to see Argentina lift the trophy.
"If Spain doesn't win the World Cup, I would like Argentina to win it because of Messi. It would be unfair for Messi to retire without winning a World Cup."
