According to the Daily Mirror, the Black Stars were among the many guests at the Double Tree Hilton and associated restaurants who had to leave when an emergency alarm was raised.
It is reported that fire services arrived on the scene to examine the hotel, with the players only being allowed to re-enter the building after 45 minutes, as per the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
"Just after 14:30 Qatar time, on Sunday, November 20th, the emergency alarm at the Ghana team hotel in Doha went off, prompting all occupants to self-evacuate," a statement from the GFA read.
"The Qatar Fire Service crew arrived shortly after to attend to the emergency alarm. It was marked safe after approximately 45 minutes of checks and all occupants were able to re-occupy their hotel rooms."
The publication reports that this was the second time in 48 hours the Double Tree had to be evacuated, with all guests being asked to vacate the premises ahead of Ghana's arrival at the venue on Friday to allow officials and sniffer dogs to check that every room was safe.
