Reigning European champions Liverpool have named their 23-man squad to take part in the FIFA Club World Cup, where they could meet African champions Esperance de Tunis in the final.
On Thursday, 2018/19 UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool announced their squad for the upcoming Club World Cup in Qatar.
The Reds have named a near full-strength squad as they go in pursuit of a first title, although Nathaniel Clyne, Fabinho and Joel Matip have been excluded due to their respective injuries.
Jurgen Klopp's side will enter the competition at the semi-final stage, and could face 2018/19 CAF Champions League winners Esperance if both sides progress from their respective matches.
Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Adrian Andy Lonergan
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Neco Williams, Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren Joe Gomez.
Midfielders: Jordan Henderson (captain), James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Adam Lallana, Harvey Elliott Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Forwards: Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Xherdan Shaqiri, Rhian Brewster Divock Origi.
Liverpool last competed in the Club World Cup in 2005, when they ended as runners-up to Brazilian side Sao Paulo.
