Esperance striker Hamdou Elhouni joined the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez in an exclusive group of players after netting a hat-trick at the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday.

After being denied a spot in the semi-finals by Al Hilal on Saturday, the CAF Champions League winners finished fifth after thrashing Xavi Hernandez's Al Sadd 6-2.
Anice Badri and Sameh Derbali were also on target for the Tunisian giants, but the night belonged to Elhouni, who became only the fourth player to score a hat-trick at the tournament.
The Libyan attacker joins Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale to achieve that impressive feat at the Club World Cup.

With his three goals on the night, Elhouni equalled the record for the most goals by an African player in a single Club World Cup campaign.
