FC Barcelona have been rocked by another off-field distraction after two senior players were reported to have squared up to each other during a training session.
According to Spanish publication AS, two senior Barca players, who have not been named, nearly came to blows in training on Tuesday last week.
It has been claimed further that, while the incident affected the mood of the session, the players in question calmed the situation down themselves.
There have been rumours of discontent at the club in recent times, stemming from former manager Ernesto Valverde's time at the club, which is believed to have fractured the dressing room.
This is further evidenced by the fact that last weekend, for the second match in a row, the players did not complete their pre-match huddle, which has become a ritual in recent years.
Barca have won four out of five matches under new boss Quique Setien and next play host to Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on Thursday.
