Gundogan decided against extending his stay at this past season's Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League winners following a successful seven-year spell at the club.
The Germany international became Pep Guardiola's first signing in England upon the Spaniard's arrival from Bayern Munich, and went on to contribute to an impressive 100 goals in 304 appearances.
