After once again being linked with a return to FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar discussed his future with the Ligue 1 giants following his club's match this past weekend.
Neymar drew the ire of PSG supporters at the beginning of the season after he publicly courted the attention of his former club Barcelona.
A move failed to materialise, however, and the Brazilian has had to work hard in order to restore his relationship with the Parisian side's supporters, a job aided by his brace in his team's 3-3 draw with rivals AS Monaco on Sunday.
After the match, the 27-year-old was asked about his future in France, and he explained that he is happy to stay and carry on doing his best for his current employers.
"My arrival here was one of the best feelings of my football life," Neymar said, as reported by GFFN.
"The way the supporters received me was great. And, for me, the relationship takes its course. Everyone knows what happened last summer. It's in the past. Today, I am a PSG player, I continue here, I give my all.
"PSG can have a great season. They are good supporters, I have nothing against them; on the contrary, there is immense affection, great respect. I hope they will support us and help us again.
"I want them to continue to do what they do in the stands and, on the field, I will give 100%."
Neymar has recorded 12 goals and six assists in 14 appearances for PSG so far this season, and is averaging a goal every 99 minutes.
