Following Ernesto Valverde's unceremonious sacking by FC Barcelona, star man Lionel Messi took to social media to share his reaction to the news.
After two and a half seasons at the club, Valverde was sacked early on Tuesday morning and replaced by former Real Betis manager Quique Setien.
Following the announcement, Messi took to Instagram to share a message of thanks and support to his former boss.
"I'm sure everything will go well for you wherever you go because, as well as being a top professional, you're also a top person. Good luck and a big hug."
