The changes have been ringing at FC Barcelona, and the club has now confirmed that a Blaugrana and Manchester United cult hero will join Ronald Koeman's coaching staff.
The Dutchman replaced Quique Setien following Barca's humiliating 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich last week, and is pulling in a familiar face to assist with the turnaround.
Swedish legend Henrik Larsson will return to the Camp Nou, along with former Hoffenheim coach Alfred Schreuder.
Larsson, a former coach at Helsingborgs, struggled with injury during his time at Barca, but played a memorable role in the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League final, during which he set up Samuel Eto'o for the equaliser against Arsenal before providing the assist for Juliano Belletti's winner.
"FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Alfred Schreuder and Henrik Larsson for their incorporation into the coaching staff, headed by new coach Ronald Koeman. Both have signed on contracts through to June 30, 2022," an official statement from Barcelona read.
"Koeman and Larsson coincided during their playing careers at Feyenoord between 1995 and 1997. Now, 23 years on, they reunite at the Camp Nou, where both achieved success on the pitch.
"Larsson has been coaching in his native Sweden, in the dugout at Falkenberg and Helsingborgs."
Larsson also had an impactful stint at United, where he played a crucial role in Sir Alex Ferguson's side on a three-month loan in 2006.
