Barcelona are reportedly open to parting with one of their star midfielders this off-season, but only on one condition.

The departures of elder statesmen Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba has done little to alleviate to the club's financial burden. As a result of this, the club is not only unable to pursue some of the best talent in Europe, but they also need to get rid of some of their best talent in an effort to ease the crisis in Catalonia.
One of the players who might need to make way, perhaps surprisingly, is Frenkie De Jong.
According to journalist Achraf Ben Ayad, the club is willing to sell the Dutchman, but only if they receive a special offer for his signature, with the 26-year-old being an ever-present and consistent performer for the Blaugrana last season as they ended a four-year wait to recapture the LaLiga title.
An issue manager Xavi Hernandez and Barca could face, though, is the player's willingness to leave the Camp Nou.
Last season, it was rumoured that De Jong would be leaving Barca, but he reportedly decided against making an exit as he wanted to stay with the five-time European champions, a sentiment that reportedly remains unchanged.
