According to Sport, the five-time European champions have already submitted an offer of €40 million (R776 million), paid in two instalments of €20 million (R388 million), plus Inigo Martinez in order to land Williams' signature.
While it is believed they have not yet received an answer from their LALIGA counterparts, though, they anticipate for it to be rejected.
The Blaugrana re thus said to be preparing a second offer of €55 million (R1 billion). This would be also paid in two instalments, of €30 million (R582 million) and then €25 million (R485 million) at a later stage, while the aforementioned defender will also be included in the deal.
