Cambridge United earned a replay in the FA Cup fourth round after drawing 0-0 with Manchester United on Friday night.
Red Devils boss, Louis Van Gaal, named a strong line-up that included Angel di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Adnan Januzaj, Michael Carrick and David de Gea, while Robin van Perise and Ander Herrera were named on the bench.
Cambrigde started the better of the two and nearly opened the scoring early on, as Tom Elliott headed wide of the target from close range.
While United's Januzaj and Antonio Valencia went close for the visitors but Cambridge goalkeeper, Chris Dunn, did well to deny the duo.
The home side nearly went ahead just before the halftime break, as Michael Nelson's header was cleared off the line, before Josh Coulson headed the rebound over.
Radamel Falcao almost gave United a lead in the second half but his low effort was palmed away by Dunn.
Van Gaal's men pushed for a winner in the closing stages of the game but the Cambridge shot-stopper was on hand to frustrate the United's start studded attack.
