Two goals in the final five minutes of the match saw Liverpool come from a goal behind to beat Bolton Wanderers 2-1 in an FA Cup fourth round match at the Macron Stadium on Wednesday night.
The first half produced no goals, but was not without its chances with the best opportunity falling to Raheem Sterling on the half hour mark when he struck the post from the edge of the box.
The second half was were the majority of the action took place and we had our first real talking point in the 58th minute when Martin Skrtel appeared to pull Zach Clough down inside the box and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
Eiður Smári Gudjohnsen stepped up and gave Bolton the lead from the spot, 1-0.
Liverpool tried to get back into the game and were given an edge in the 67th minute when Bolton's Neil Danns was shown his second yellow card and sent from the field.
With the man advantage Liverpool pushed forward and came close to finding the equaliser in the 84th minute when Emre Can struck the crossbar with a 20-yard shot.
Two minutes later and the Reds did find the equaliser when Can played Sterling through on goal and he made no mistake with cool volley to make it 1-1.
Liverpool then stole the win in the 91st minute when a thunderous shot from Philippe Coutinho found the corner of the net, 2-1.
Liverpool will now face Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
