While the incident threatens to make life difficult for new Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel, Guardiola believes the behind-the-scenes tension could cause problems for the Citizens.
City will travel to Germany this week for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, carrying a 3-0 aggregate lead into the clash.
The Spaniard has stated he feels the issue between Mane and Sane, which has since been resolved after the club suspended and fined the Senegalese international, will inspire the German giants to perform better.
"Absolutely, sometimes you need conflict to make the team more together, I am pretty sure of that. It's not a weak point, it will be a strong point against us," he said, according to Goal.
"I know this club perfectly, I can imagine the situation against City, we play there, the players will do their best.
"Bayern will do their best on Wednesday but I am pretty sure what happened here.
"If it was the opposite and we had lost 3-0 and didn't win today (Saturday) and there was some conflict, the team would say it is a final for us and we know exactly what we have to do and we will do it."
