With Kevin de Bruyne facing an uncertain future, Manchester City have reportedly lined up a successor should the Belgian leave.
The Belgian is entering the final year of his contract with the Premier League champions and there are no indications yet that he will extend.
Reports in England claim that teams from the Saudi Pro League are keen on the 33-year-old midfielder.

Even if De Bruyne does not leave, German journalist Christian Falk has reported that City will make a move for Bayern Munich and Germany star Jamal Musiala.
Musiala is no stranger to English football, having come through the youth ranks at Chelsea before making the switch to Bayern in 2020.
The report adds that the Premier League holders see the Germany international as the perfect long-term successor for De Bruyne.
City manager Pep Guardiola did say this week that the Belgian midfielder will not be leaving in the current transfer window.
"Kevin isn't going," Guardiola said, as per the Guardian.
"If someone leaves, we're going to talk about that. Of course, until the last day, we have chances [to make transfers]. I don't rule it out the option to have new players but I think there is an 85-90% chance we will have the same squad.
"I feel comfortable, because the quality of human beings we have in the squad is difficult to be replaced, and the quality is there. But we'll see. I don't know in the last moment if someone comes for some players and they leave, we're going to decide."
