Despite the attacker's efforts however, the Clarets were unable to attain their first three points of the season as they suffered their second successive loss of the campaign following their 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Foster was able to build on a promising EPL debut against Manchester City with a goal against the Villans, though, and when his head coach was quizzed on the forward's auspicious start to the season, he told Burnley's official YouTube channel: "I think we've seen enough of the frontline to see that there's life in the attacking players that we've got.
"We're able to create, I don't think it matters the level that we play against. We've created against [Manchester] City, we've created chances here again today and obviously our players up front are really starting to find their feet in the Premier League.
"The next level for us would be to learn from the mistakes we've made and to punish them even more when we get the chance, because this league doesn't give you 90 minutes of momentum, it's not possible."
