The German tactician will be parting ways with the Reds upon the conclusion of this campaign after eight years in charge, having announced his decision near the end of January.
Klopp, who informed the club of his decision internally in November already, said he was looking forward to a break from football and insisted he had no agreement in place with another any side.
The 56-year-old stated that he was losing energy, and that he wanted to experience a "normal" life while he still could, with Liverpool still believed to be searching for his replacement.
Speaking this week ahead of his team's UEFA Europa League quarter-final first-leg clash against Atalanta, Klopp was asked if he had any dreams of one day working in Serie A.
"The only Italian thing I know is Italian food," he answered, according to the Daily Mirror.
"At this moment, I don't plan a further career as a manager.
"Ask me in a year's time, but now I don't plan anything."
