The Manchester City star is reportedly being investigated after he was photographed using his phone while driving, with The Sun having released images and footage earlier this week showing the 22-year-old spending time on his phone while driving his Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The incident reportedly happened a day after the Norwegian bagged five goals against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League earlier this month, with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirming: "GMP is aware of the image and is investigating."
The striker could be fined £200 (R4 460) and receive a six-points penalty on his driving licence if he is found guilty.
There is also the possibility of him being fined a maximum £1 000 (R22 300) if he is taken to court.
According to the same reports, the United Kingdom is especially strict about people using their phones while driving, prohibiting it at all times.
This news comes at a bad time for Haaland, with the 2022/23 Premier League leading goalscorer having had to withdraw from Norway duty for their 2024 UEFA European Championship qualifiers after he sustained a groin injury.
