Real won both clashes to lift the Supercopa de Espana in the beginning of the season, while Barca beat their rivals at their own backyard 3-0 in December.
Messi scored his 25th El Clasico goal in his 37th appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu before Christmas, while Ronaldo netted his 17th Clasico strike in the first leg of Real's 5-1 aggregate win in the Super Cup – a game where he also picked up a five-match suspension after pushing the referee.
The Portuguese could equal legendary Real striker Alfredo Di Stefano in second place in the Clasico all-time scoring ranking, while Messi leads the chart pretty comfortable.
