The Argentine is currently the fixture's leading scorer, having scored 21 goals in 30 appearances, while the Portuguese sits on 15 strikes in 23 derbies.
Messi has also provided 13 assists in the derby, which is currently the most in Clasico history.
In his 30 derby games, the Barcelona maestro has won 15, drawn seven and lost eight matches. Ronaldo, meanwhile, has only won six of his 23 derbies, drawn six and lost 11.
Nine of the Los Blancos forward's 15 Clasico goals have come at the Camp Nou, while nine of Messi's 21 strikes came at the same venue, so both players prefer to score away from home.
Another interesting stat is that Real have scored 33 goals in this derby since Ronaldo joined them in 2009, while Barcelona have scored 58 times in the crunch clash since Messi's debut for the club.
