Mourinho Casillas' Fallout
Following a heated Super Cup match between Barcelona and Real in 2011, a frustrated Iker Casillas phoned the Catalan club's captain, Xavi, to vent his anger at what happened on the field. Jose Mourinho later found out about the conversation, and the goalkeeper was seen as a mole in the manager's eyes from that moment forward.
Messi Becomes Highest Clasico Scorer
Los Blancos legend Alfredo Di Stefano's tally of 18 El Clasico goals was unbeatable for years, with nobody going close to the record, until a certain Lionel Messi entered the scene. The Argentine scored his 19th goal against Real in 2014, and has added a further two strikes since.
Ramos Drops Cup
Real were ecstatic after beating Barcelona in the 2011 Copa del Rey final, especially as they had lost 5-0 to the same Pep Guardiola team just a few months before. While parading around the city on the winners' bus, Sergio Ramos dropped the trophy, which the vehicle then rode over.
Ronaldinho Applauded By Real Fans
In an incredible Barcelona performance, Ronaldinho netted a brace against their fierce rivals at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2005. His display on the night was so breathtaking that even Real's fans were on their feet to applaud the midfielder at the final whistle.
Pig's Head Thrown At Figo
Luis Figo had been a Catalan hero for five years before joining Real in a big-money move in 2000. His reception upon eventually returning to the Camp Nou was, to say the least, hostile. Every time he took corners and throw-ins, he was pelted with objects by angry Barca fans, the most notorious being a pig's head that was thrown on to the pitch.
