FC Barcelona defender Dani Alves has admitted football doesn't give him quite the same satisfaction as it does for some of his teammates.
Ramos Follows Pique With Strange Clasico Confession
Alves was on the receiving end of some rough challenges in this weekend's El Clasico – he was heavily fouled by Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and then elbowed by Cristiano Ronaldo.
After the game, the Brazilian was asked what the secret to doing well in a Clasico is and he managed to take a sly dig at his arch-rivals with his response.
"The secret is to have a good team, to have a team with balls, ambition and personality," he told Sport.
"Some people get turned on by football, I get turned on by my girl. In a game where you get kicked by people, that doesn't turn me on. I'm not a masochist.
"Iniesta? He gets turned on by football, he's that type of player!"
