The Portuguese superstar scored the equalising goal in the first-half to make it 1-1, which put him level with the former Spanish international's 15 El Clasico goals.
The 30-year-old's goal proved to be nothing more than a consolation at the end of the heated affair between the Spanish giants though, but it did take him to third place on the all-time list of Clasico scorers.
Although he failed to score on Sunday night, Barcelona's talisman, Lionel Messi, still holds the record for the most goals in the fixture, with 21 goals – six above his Los Blancos rival.
Ronaldo went above Ferenc Puskas, Francisco Gento and César Rodríguez Álvarez, but is still three short of Real legend, Alfredo Di Stefano.
The former Manchester United player has now scored 42 goals this season in all competitions, while he's found the net 31 times in La Liga - just one behind Messi.
