Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he changed his playing position at Los Blancos so that he could score more goals.
Ronaldo Reveals His Best Manager
The Portuguese striker recently sat down with Soccer World and was asked if the Ronaldo of old, the wide man, is still around.
"He's different. I'm more of a box player, not so much a winger," Ronaldo said, as quoted by Sport.
"Because goals are made inside the box and close to the goal, my position has changed a bit. The instinct for goal, as well, that's something you learn with experience.
"It's something that has come to me more naturally and that makes me happy. You can see the evolution that I've had throughout my career – since I began until today – and that is good for me. I've been evolving."
