Speaking at a press conference ahead of the clash at the weekend, the Spaniard suggested that winning the game in memory of the late Johan Cruyff would make for an even more momentous occasion.
"Winning it would be very special," he said, according to Marca.
"The best tribute is the legacy Cruyff has left all of us, 'Cules' in particular, but also the football world in general.
"That's Cruyff's tribute to us. Fingers crossed, we can get a victory, and it's an added motivation for us.
"The best tribute we can pay Cruyff is to do everything he taught us. We want to win so we can dedicate it to him."
