The Brazilian was sent off, after he attempted to head-butt a Colombian player seconds after the final whistle had blown.
Neymar was shown a red card, and headed down the tunnel, where he apparently waited for the match officials to let the referee know his thoughts on the decision.
The Chilean match official revealed that Neymar had waited for him in the tunnel and began hurling abuse at him.
"He was waiting for me and insulted me, calling me a son of a b****," the official stated in his report, according to Marca.
Neymar reportedly told the ref: "You want to make yourself famous at my expense, you son of a b****!"
The 23-year-old will miss the rest of the Copa America with a four-match ban, with some disciplinary committee members claiming that Neymar's sentencing was light.
