Colombian legend Faustino Asprilla has lashed out at Brazil captain Neymar, suggesting that he belongs in the movies rather than on the football field.
Ronaldo Slams Neymar's Aggressive Behaviour
Asprilla had some harsh criticism directed towards Neymar on Twitter, during Brazil's Copa America clash against Colombia on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old Colombian tweeted that "Neymar is a lie for football" and that he should rather "Go to Hollywood".
Neymar was in the thick of it all and was cautioned in the first half handling the ball following a header, which the referee felt that he was trying to deflect the ball on goal.
The Brazilian also had several run-ins with the Colombian defenders at various times during the game, and the one that led to his sending off happened after the final whistle.
The incident occurred when Neymar kicked the ball hard at Pablo Armero and then got involved with a pushing and shoving contest with Carlos Bacca. At this point the referee got out his red card and showed it to both players.
After seeing Neymar get escorted down the tunnel, Asprilla had one more dig at Neymar: "And to top it all Neymar gets himself sent off… what a disaster!!!!" posted Asprilla.
The Brazilian is now face a two match ban and could see his side crash out of the Copa America, due to his silly behaviour.
