Peru marched on to the Copa America semi-finals, following a convincing 3-1 over Bolivia on Friday morning.
Peru, who made their seventh quarter-final appearance in the last eight Copa's, started off the better side, with a few dazzling runs from Jefferson Farfan.
The first shot of the game came in the ninth minute, but the effort from Peru's Paolo Guerrero went well wide.
Seven minutes later Peru almost took the lead from a corner, but some last ditch defending saw the ball get cleared off the Bolivia goal-line.
The breakthrough came in the 21st minute, after Guerrero latched onto a cross from Juan Vargas to put Peru in front.
Just a few minutes later Peru doubled their lead, with Guerrero again hitting the back of the net, this time with a calmly placed finish from a few yards out, and the teams went into the break at 2-0.
The second half started like a game of cat and mouse, with both sides having their fair share of chances, before the 75th minute when Peru's star of the night, Guerrero, secured his hat-trick.
Bolivia finally managed to trouble the scorers, after a Marcelo Moreno penalty was put away, although the goal proved to just to be a consolation.
Peru will face hosts Chile in the semi-finals, while Argentina and Colombia as well as Brazil and Paraguay will determine the other semi-finalists.
