Liverpool cruised into the next round of the EFL Cup after recording a 3-0 win over Derby County at Pride Park Stadium.
The Reds coach Jurgen Klopp made seven changes from the team that beat Chelsea 2-1 in the league outing.
The play was slow early on, however the Championship outfit enjoyed their fair share of possession.
Liverpool opened the scoring after 24 minuets through Ragnar Klavan, who scored from close range after some poor marking from the hosts.
Roberto Firmino was a constant threat throughout and Derby would have been relieved to go into the halftime break only 1-0 down.
The Reds doubled their lead shortly after the halftime break, as Coutinho combined with Firmino, before calmly slotting home from close range.
Divock Origi extended the lead to 3-0 in the 54th minute, as Coutinho turned to to play in the Belgian forward, who made no mistake fro close range.
That goal took the sting out of the game and Derby County were made to chase shadows as Liverpool ran the clock to a good win.
