Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has given the favourites tag to Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the Capital One Cup final.
Mourinho Hits Out At Wenger Again
Chelsea face Tottenham in the final on Sunday, and will be without their chief destroyer in midfield, Nemanja Matic, who will be serving a suspension thanks to the red card he picked up over the weekend.
Mourinho believes Spurs have the advantage over the Blues going into Sunday's final, and insists that in football any little advantage counts.
"It will be an advantage (that Matic is suspended). In football an advantage is an advantage.
"They (Tottenham) have such a good squad, almost replicas with two players for every position.
"What's the difference between Erik Lamela and Andros Townsend? Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen? Paulinho and Ryan Mason? Vertonghen and Fazio — actually Vertonghen likes to get cards to the opponents.
"If things go in one direction where people think Chelsea's approach is not to win, you are wrong.
"For example, look at the game in Paris (against PSG last week) and in the second half, you get the idea that Chelsea didn't want to win. But we couldn't.
"They were stronger than us, they were better than us and put us in trouble. We couldn't do what we what we wanted to do."
The Blues will also be without John Obi Mikel this weekend, who has a knee injury, so Mourinho may have to look to his youth setup to provide cover.
