Bournemouth booked their spot in the third round, after securing a 2-1 win over League Two outfit, Morecambe.
Ivorian Max Gradel handed the Premier League side the lead after eight minutes, before Morcecambe leveled matters in the 14th minute through Cole Stockton.
The Cherries then secured the win after 54 minutes courtesy of a fine strike from Marc Wilson.
