Capital One Cup Round Two Wrap

Hartlepool United 0-4 Bournemouth 

Bournemouth cruised into the third of the Capital One Cup, after thrashing League Two outfit, Hartlepool United, 4-0 at Victoria Park on Tuesday night.

Junior Stanislas bagged a brace for the Cherries, while Dan Gosling and Yann Kermorgant rounded off the scoring for Eddie Howes' men.

Newcastle United 4-1 Northampton

Newcastle United secured their spot in the third round, after they eased past Northampton at St. James' Park on Tuesday evening.

New signing, Florian Thuavin, opened the scoring, before Siem De Jong doubled the lead eighth minute.

Daryl Janmaat added the Magpies' third goal, before Mike Williamson rounded of the scoring in the 63rd minute.
